The special components produced by GTS Elettrotecnica represent a versatile, innovative and highly reliable solution for a wide range of applications, both traditional and unconventional. Thanks to its long experience in the field and established know-how in the design and production of transformers, inductors and advanced electrotechnical devices, the company is able to manufacture customized products that precisely meet the needs of industrial customers, research laboratories, universities and technology development centers.

 

From prototyping to large series

GTS Elettrotecnica’s strength lies in its ability to combine production flexibility and technical expertise. This makes it possible to produce both unique prototypes and small series intended for experimental and research activities, as well as large volumes of special components intended for customers with special applications and very stringent requirements. This approach makes it possible to meet the needs of heterogeneous sectors, always guaranteeing high performance, reliability and short delivery times.

 

Electrical and construction characteristics

From a technical point of view, these devices cover an extremely wide operating range:

  • voltages from 10 V to 80 kV,
  • currents ranging from a few amperes up to 10 kA.

This versatility makes them suitable for uses ranging from heavy industry to advanced research. The windings can be made from copper, aluminum or steel, using single-core, multi-core (Litz wire) or band conductors, even in combined configurations to optimize performance and efficiency.

Carpentry and hardware are available in galvanized iron, stainless steel, aluminum or fiberglass, depending on application and environmental requirements.

The impregnation process can be done with epoxy resin, Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) resin, encapsulated resin, or combinations of these techniques, providing high mechanical strength, better heat dissipation, and increased durability.

Cooling can be realized in either natural air (AN) or forced air (AF), while the standard degree of protection is IP00, with higher configurations available upon request.
